It's the Holiday Season!

The past month has been very busy getting ready for Christmas and all of the flowers that go along with the season.

This bouquet was for the daughter of a dear friend and she wanted white roses with yellow and blue tips so I painted each rose. It turned out to be a beautiful bouquet that everyone loved.

The next wedding was fun because I got to work with peacock feathers. Another fun thing about this wedding and a couple others that I have done recently are using these fun new water beads that I have found. The beads are tiny and you put them water and let them soak it up till they get to about the size of marbles. In the arrangement above the vase is full of gel cubes just like the beads.

These arrangements have the water beads in them with some summersible lights. It was an outdoor reception and they looked great on the tables.

This purple bouquet was also fun to make. The purple wedding and the brown one were the same day. It was fun getting them both delivered.

This bouquet was for the day after Christmas. It was fun to mix the holly and berries with roses and gerber daisies.

November

November has been a busy month for weddings, I've done three so far and have two more Thanksgiving weekend. Here is a look at what I've done so far. Fall brings some more fun color schemes.

I had a nephew get married this month as well. It is always fun to add more to the family. This was a fun wedding and my daughter did the cake.

Also I have acquired different fabrics for tables and other things that are available to be rented for your occasion.

Spring fun

I was going through pictures and saw I had posted these yet from the spring. They were fun to use the bright spring flowers.

October catch up

I had two weddings in October, and they were both very different from each other. The first one was pink. Here is a fun arrangement for one of the tables.

The bride wanted two bouquets, a silk one for pictures a a real one for the wedding day. Here is the real one.

Here is the silk one, at times it is kind of hard to tell the difference between the fresh and silk since the quality of silk flowers has increased through the years.

This bride just wanted a silk bouquet. It turned out realy nice. There us a pin with her first initial of her new last name. She really enjoyed which makes me really enjoy what I do even more.

September Arrangements

September has been a busy month for fun different arrangements. The first was for Mesa Sister Cities September Concert, and the theme was Colors of Peace. That is how we came up with the fun design of filling the vase with crayons.

The other arrangements we did were in crayola thermoses that we found in all the fun back to school stuff.

This next arrangement is very fun and goes with the one above for a funeral, which is not such a fun reason to do flowers. The woman this arrangement was for was an avid quilter and her family requested a patch work quilt arrangement. It turned out so cute!

Passion for Purple

Here is a bouquet from a wedding a few weeks ago. The rest are from the wedding of a good family friend that was lots of fun. The various shades of purple turned out amazing, I wasn't sure how it was going to look, but I loved it and so did the bride. The reception set up was gorgeous, kind of vintage and a very elegant chic.
